How to Request Support
Section titled “How to Request Support”Please include the following information in your message:
- Device model
- OS version
- Ayumi app version
- A short description of the issue
- Steps to reproduce the issue, if available
- Screenshots or screen recordings, if available
App Features Related to Permissions
Section titled “App Features Related to Permissions”Ayumi may request access to the following permissions:

| Location | Used to attach the place where an entry was created and to fetch weather information for that location |
| Microphone | Used to record audio notes for transcription |
| Photo Library / Files | Used when attaching images, PDFs, audio, or other files to an entry |
You can continue using Ayumi without granting these permissions, but related features may be limited.
Weather Information
Section titled “Weather Information”Ayumi can automatically fetch weather information when creating a new entry.
This feature is used only when the app has permission to access location and when the user creates a new entry.
AI / Third-Party Services
Section titled “AI / Third-Party Services”Ayumi offers optional audio transcription using the Gemini API.
- This feature is optional
- Users must provide their own Gemini API key
- Audio is sent to Google’s Gemini API only when the user explicitly uses transcription
- Ayumi does not require AI features for basic journaling
Journal Storage
Section titled “Journal Storage”Ayumi stores journal entries as Markdown files in a location chosen by the user. Attachments such as images, audio files, and PDFs can be stored alongside entries.
